As a part of their Autism Friendly Community Partnership with the North Dakota Autism Center Inc., Sky Zone Fargo will be holding sensory friendly hours for customers. These sessions will include quieter music & overhead noise, a Calm Down Zone with sensory toys, and visual cues that will be placed around the facility.
Since 2014, Sky Zone Fargo is always working to invent epic new ways to play, gather, and compete. Even though they are the originators of wall-to-wall aerial action in the F-M area, they never stand still. Between birthday parties, open jump, and weekly events, Sky Zone Fargo continues to maintain a safe place for all to play.
Autism Friendly Community (AFC) is a program created by the North Dakota Autism Center, Inc. with a goal to equip local businesses with sufficient knowledge of autism and other developmental disabilities to ensure confidence in providing a quality experience for the business, families, and individuals affected by autism. With more people becoming aware, growth in the community will happen. NDAC has developed a training for area businesses on becoming an Autism Friendly Community Partner.
Since joining the program in September 2021, Sky Zone has since become a Level 2 AFC Partner. To achieve this ranking, they have committed to participate in regular training sessions facilitated by NDAC and including AFC training in their orientation of new employees. Sky Zone has also agreed to host a special sensory friendly event, resulting in the upcoming sensory friendly jump sessions. The North Dakota Autism Center, Inc., is excited to continue this partnership with Sky Zone and welcome the community to these events!
