Mission
To equip businesses/organizations with basic knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. To ensure confidence, being inclusive and comfort in providing a quality experience for the organization, individuals in need of support, and their families.
Importance
The North Dakota Autism Center, Inc.’s (NDAC) Sensory and Inclusive Community Partnership program, is a bridge between businesses/organizations and those on the developmental disability spectrum. Ultimately, NDAC believes this program will help provide a more inclusive environment to families within the community as well as empower the business or organization to welcome individuals of all abilities.
NDAC will provide a general overview of those in need of support, as well as some tips for interacting with individuals on the spectrum within their business and community. NDAC believes with training for employees of local businesses and organizations we will help to combat the isolation and stigma experienced by those affected by developmental disabilities.

KidCo. Children’s Museum – KidCo. is an imagination focused, indoor playland for kiddos ages 0-8 years old. We play in 90 minutes sessions which have a controlled attendance. Adults and kiddos play in their socks. Reservations are not required but are highly encouraged (especially on weekends). Adults and infants accompanying their siblings are free. We provide complimentary coffee as well as water daily. KidCo. is meant to be a safe space for parents to relax and kiddos to GET YOUR WIGGLES OUT!

Red River Zoo – The Red River Zoological Society was formed in 1993 with the intent of building a premier zoological facility in Fargo, North Dakota. Through land sold and donated to the Fargo Park District by the Anderson Family, the Red River Zoo was able to obtain a long term lease (99 years) of 34 acres with the intent of building a zoo. Thanks to the progressive vision and thinking of leaders in the Fargo community, the Red River Zoo was constructed and opened to the public in May of 1999.
